This is absolutely perfect For my Guest Bedroom!
The Open Seat
The Open Seat is a beautiful invitation to pause, breathe, and embrace the possibilities that come with making space for yourself. Set against a breathtaking mountain backdrop, this captivating piece of Black Art celebrates solitude, reflection, and the freedom that comes from stepping away from the noise of everyday life.
The scene feels both peaceful and aspirational. A lone figure sits comfortably, taking in a view that stretches far beyond the horizon, while an empty chair nearby quietly tells its own story. It may symbolize opportunity, companionship, future adventures, or simply the importance of leaving room for new experiences. The artwork encourages viewers to slow down, be present, and appreciate the beauty that surrounds them.
More than decorative wall art, The Open Seat is a reminder that rest is productive, reflection is valuable, and sometimes the most meaningful moments happen when we allow ourselves the space to simply be. The majestic landscape and calming atmosphere create a sense of serenity that instantly transforms a room, while the open chair invites personal interpretation and connection.
Perfect for living rooms, home offices, reading nooks, bedrooms, libraries, wellness spaces, vacation homes, waiting areas, and creative studios, this artwork brings calm, sophistication, and inspiration into any environment. Whether displayed above a sofa, desk, bed, fireplace, or as part of a curated gallery wall, it creates a thoughtful focal point that encourages mindfulness and conversation.
Created by SmardArt, The Open Seat is ideal for collectors seeking Black Art, Art for Black People, Black wall art, African American wall art, nature-inspired wall art, mountain wall art, living room wall art, office wall art, travel-inspired artwork, motivational wall art, modern Black artwork, and meaningful home décor that celebrates peace, freedom, and self-discovery. Beautiful!
Beautiful!
This is nice I wish I’d ordered the larger print.
It’s gorgeous!
Ordered July 30. It's Oct 9 and I still don't have puzzles. I respected the two month turnaround but two months came and went. I was told they'd ship the week of Sept 29. They did not. Shipping label created Oct 2 and tracking says they were never placed with carrier. Never plan to buy from this company again.

This piece is so elegant and vibrant. I plan to put it in a room where it can be seen all the time! I might buy a second one and mount them next to each other to bring a really powerful vibe! I was so impressed with the quality of the paper and the vibrancy of the image!
I was so impressed with the quality of the paper and the vibrancy of the image! It arrived in a timely manner, with good tracking information throughout the process. I am so glad I investigated this artist/entrepreneur, so I have this cool resource to use in the future.
it's a really nice piece, it too bad mine arrive bent up and then there is a black or brown dot on the finished print, for 29 bucks, i expected better quality and handling. For future reference, don't send fragile items via usps, please select FedEx or Ups they pay attention to fragility signage.
